Wilo terms of service
Last updated: October 28, 2026
The short version. Wilo is free to use, with a paid Growth plan. You can cancel Growth at any time; you keep it until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Payments are not refunded. Everything you saved stays yours on every plan.
1. Who we are
Wilo (the browser extension, the web app, and the Wilo service behind them) is provided by [Legal entity name], a [type of entity] registered in [country / state], with its address at [registered address] ("we", "us"). By installing Wilo or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Wilo.
2. Your account
You can use the extension without an account; your library then stays in that browser. An account (Google or email sign-in) adds sync across devices and paid plans. Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for online services in your country if that is higher.
3. Plans and prices
- Free costs nothing and has no time limit. It includes unlimited saved tabs and the core library, with limits on some features (for example, a number of browsers and of "Organize now" runs a day).
- Growth costs $5 a month or $48 a year (in US dollars, plus any tax PayPal or your bank adds). It adds the features listed in Wilo's upgrade screen.
- New accounts get a 14-day Growth trial. No payment details are needed, and nothing is charged when it ends; the account simply moves to Free unless you subscribe.
Paid plans are billed in advance by PayPal and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. We may change prices or what each plan includes; a price change applies from your next renewal after we tell you about it, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
4. Cancelling
- Cancel any time in Wilo (Account → Plan → Cancel subscription) or in your PayPal account. PayPal stops billing you straight away; no further payments are taken.
- You keep Growth until the end of the current paid period (the date your next payment would have been due). Wilo shows that date in the Plan tab. When it passes, your account moves to the Free plan.
- Nothing you saved is deleted or locked when a plan ends. Features that are Growth-only switch off, and Free limits apply again.
- Changed your mind before the period ends? Choose Resume Growth in the Plan tab. PayPal can't restart a cancelled subscription, so this sets up a new one that you approve in PayPal; its first payment is due on the date your paid period ends, so you never pay twice for the same days. After the period has ended, subscribe again as usual.
5. No refunds
All payments are final. We do not give refunds, in full or in part, including for the unused rest of a month or year after you cancel, for a period you didn't use Wilo, or when you switch between monthly and yearly billing. Cancelling stops future payments; it doesn't return past ones. This doesn't take away any right to a refund that the consumer law of your country gives you and that can't be waived by contract.
6. Failed payments
If PayPal can't take a renewal payment, it retries for a while. Growth features pause until the payment goes through, and if PayPal gives up, the subscription ends and the account moves to Free. Your library is never affected.
7. Your content
The links, notes, and collections you save are yours. You give us permission to store, copy, and transmit them only as needed to run Wilo for you: syncing your devices, the share links you create, the workspaces you share, and the cloud AI features if you turn them on. You can export your library at any time and delete your account from the account panel. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use Wilo to break the law or anyone's rights, to share malware or unlawful material through public share links, to try to get into other people's accounts or data, or to overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the Wilo service beyond what the law allows. We may remove share links or suspend accounts that do.
9. Other services
Payments are handled by PayPal under PayPal's own terms. Sign-in with Google, email delivery, and the optional cloud AI features use the providers listed in the privacy policy. Wilo works with your browser's tabs and with the sites you save, but we aren't responsible for those sites.
10. Changes, availability, and ending the service
Wilo keeps improving, so features may change. We aim to keep the service available but can't promise it will never be interrupted. If we ever shut Wilo down, we will tell you in advance, keep export working until the end, and stop charging you. You may stop using Wilo at any time; we may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
11. Warranties and liability
Wilo is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for more than the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [country / state], and disputes go to the courts of [jurisdiction], unless the consumer law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim there.
13. Changes to these terms and contact
We will post changes here and update the date above. If a change materially affects paid plans, we will tell you in the extension's Updates panel or by email before it applies. Questions: support@wilo.app.
